I mentioned my quest to look at my health and dig into improvements in a Slack channel and my colleague Cesar mentioned the 8/16 method. This is eating for 8 hours then not eating for 16.
I’ve been half doing it for the past week or so. Some days I’ve fallen into my bad snack habit but other days I’ve tried my best to stick to it.
Last night I definitely felt the benefit of that. We finished dinner around 7pm and I didn’t eat until 10am this morning. 15 hours, but I could feel the rumblings around 11pm and when I woke up I didn’t need to eat.
I’ll keep playing with it, but it’s just one thing that I’m trying. Cutting out snacks is a big thing for me so I’m going to mainly focus on that.
